Physiotherapy in Sports
Physiotherapy is inextricably linked to the rehabilitation of sports injuries. Very often it works both preventively and correctively, but also provides counseling to improve the performance of each athlete.

SPL treats professional and non-professional athletes from all fields of sports. Most athletes come from volleyball, basketball and football, where injuries and strains are very common. However, there are also athletes from tennis, paddle, swimming, martial arts and even dance who need a physiotherapy approach.
The SPL team is actively involved in sports, since Mr. Dimou is very active in the field of sports and Mr. Mourtos with Mrs. Maitou who offer their services in different sports clubs.
Specifically, Mr Dimou deals with Olympic and Paralympic athletes, but also many high level track athletes. He has also collaborated for a number of years with football, volleyball and basketball teams of the A1 national category such as B.C. Panionios, F.C. Panathinaikos and the volleyball team of men and women of Panathinaikos. Finally, from 2017 until today, he cooperates as an external partner with F.C. Olympiacos and visits the team's training center in Rentis on a weekly basis, offering Chiropractic and Podiatry services.
Mr. Mourtos is the physiotherapist of the basketball academies aged 5 to 14 of the association Tatavlas on the southeastern axis of Attica. With his presence in training and competitions, it offers the services of a physiotherapist in case of injury or other emergencies.
Ms. Maitou has been a physiotherapist at the AONS Millon from May 2011 to June 2016, attending academies, children's, adolescence and men's teams.
